Room 4
Instructor: Diane Bouchelle
My name is Diane Bouchelle. This is my 21st year of teaching. For 14 years of my teaching career here in Ashe County I was an Itinerant teacher. I was originally based at Ashe Developmental Day School as a school employee. I later was stationed at MVES and worked with students at WWES. I also worked as an itinerant teacher for a few years here at the AELC before I got my own classroom. I am originally from Wilkes County and have 3 daughters and six grandchildren. I received my Birth - Kindergarten degree from Appalachian State University, with a minor in child psychology. I live in Fleetwood and love being out on my deck, going hiking, reading, movies, being involved in church activities, and spending time with my family.
Feel free to contact me anytime.

New Year and winter continued
We missed several days for snow so we are continuing our study on the new year and Yellow Yo-Yo Man. We are continually working on writing our names. Many of the children are writing their last names now, others are practicing, while still others are mastering their first name. We made Yak's and did paintings with white paint mixed with salt.
