  • ATTENTION PARENTS - Connect 5 Information

In the past few weeks, our Connect 5 number the displays for our calls has changed from the 311-000-000 number. It was not by our choice for that number to change. Support at Connect5 explained that the FCC has passed a new law that enables a telephone carrier to block calls that do not look like they are a valid number. Therefore, our calls were getting blocked and sent back to them. So their solution was to send it out from another number. We have asked them to make it this 855 number - caller ID: 855-473-7529 (855-4replay). It will come in the same way. The only difference is that if they call the number back, it will explain that it was a call from Ashe County Schools and allow them to replay the message.
