  • More Flu Information - February 8, 2019

Ashe County Schools custodial and maintenance staffs are very busy fighting the flu this weekend.  Dr. Donald Phipps, Superintendent for Caldwell County Schools, contacted Mrs. Yates and offered additional disinfecting equipment.  That equipment was picked up this morning and is scheduled to be used to clean each school over the weekend.  Also,  Ashe County Middle School parent, Mr. Chuck Bristle, owner of Jo Lynn Enterprises, is currently at Ashe County Middle School with  professional cleaning equipment and an air purification system.  ACMS is the school most heavily impacted by the flu virus at this time.   Mr. Bristle is gracious enough to donate his time and services to help our staff sanitize and disinfect the student learning environment.  Thank you all for your generosity and willingness to work throughout the weekend to ensure the health of our students and staff.
