TAKE NOTICE: The Ashe County Board of Education will conduct a special-called meeting on Monday, March 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in joint session with the County Commissioners at 150 Government Circle, Suite 2500, Jefferson, NC 28640, to consider funding two facility projects. The Board of Education will reconvene at 1:30 p.m. at the Administrative Offices Annex of Ashe County Schools, 320 South Street, Jefferson, North Carolina 28640, and enter closed session for a student hearing. Following the student hearing in closed session, the Board of Education will return to open session to review and consider policies and participate in a strategic planning discussion at approximately 2:30 p.m. If you have any questions regarding this notice, please call Ashe County Schools at (336) 246-7175.
